Brainstorming about social research
I would like to research the social acceptance of chiropractic care, in being a pre chiropractic/ natural science major, i feel it would be a very interesting topic to see how different groups in society view chiropractic as a form of health care. Maybe interviewing groups of people being in the older grandparent/ babyboomer age, the parents, and the young adult or age group of around 18-25. I would like to see how these different social groups view chiropractic care and maybe learn different angles on how to educate them on the topic. This is important to me being a prospective chiropractic student, and feeling that chiropractic care has been important in my life so far, and in wanting to "share the wealth" so to say with others in a way to help better peoples health, and perhaps their life in general.

Hi Mike,
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting perspective on this issue on chiropractic. You are making an argument that chiropractic as a form of health care. This could be used as your intro part. How do other people view chiropractic in general? Do you think there are differences in perception between male and female chiropractitioners?
